The PYLD Program is divided into five clusters for the purpose of developing youth self-confidence and skills as well as providing experiences that create an inclusive culture.
Participants will
– Learn at minimum two goal setting techniques by training session end
– Be able to list five positive characteristics about themselves
– Identify at least one value they possess
– Define and understand leadership
– Attend at least one leadership training conference
– Learn conflict resolution
– Learn & Practice Inclusive Ethics & Values
– Learn Communication and Public Speaking skills
A nine month commitment is required and willingness to virtual meetings, presentations and some onsite work.
This program is designed for youth between the ages of 15 years and 20 years to promote awareness of their potential for leadership at many levels – at home; at school; in the workplace; and in local, state, and national communities. Click the link below to sign up today.
